How to offset curve on the face

- [Instructor] Offset curve in face allows you to select a curve, select a face or a plane, in this case I'll pick this plane, and offset it a given distance on that face or plane. Now, I'm going to pick this curve and offset it on this face. As you can see, the system is able to extrapolate that surface and offset that curve off of that surface. I'm going to go ahead and reverse that. And some of the other options that we have within the offset curve in face is the ability to extend or trim the curve based off of the face's extent. So in this case, the curve is being extended out to the boundaries as it traverses along that face. It knows where those boundaries are at. So it extends that curve out to those extents. Other things that you can do with this is in this case it's set to constant so it's a constant distance. I can go variable. And law type, we'll use linear.
