Geometric constraints
- [Instructor] Here I want to talk about geometric constraints inside of the sketch. So I'm gonna activate sketch 000, and when I go in you can see the sketch has some issues. This isn't necessarily what I'm looking for, so I'm gonna use some geometric constraints to associate endpoints to one another, tell lines, curves, arcs to be tangent to one another and such. Now the software itself has got some really, really great tools for geometric constraints. So you have an icon at the top, but what I recommend using are the automatic pop outs. You don't have to press anything. You don't have to do anything except for select the geometry that you want to constrain. So in this case if I wanna take this endpoint you'll notice that I make sure I get the point and I want to go to this endpoint. What ends up happening is I get this little pop up. And I'm not clicking on anything or pressing on anything except for selecting that geometry. In this pop up it's going to give me all of the potential…
