- [Instructor] Once you have your primaries and secondaries all trimmed up and ready to be put together you're going to use a tool called sew. With sew, you want to be careful with the first surface you select. In this case, if I pick let's say this tertiary surface and then I can do a trap for the rest of these. What's going to happen is the color of the final surface is going to take on the properties of that initial surface, that tertiary surface. So everything has turned this gray. I'm going to come in. I'm going to hold the shift key down under the tool, deselect that, go up to target, deselect that, pick this as my target, and then come back down to tool and pick the tertiary. Let me show my result. Now, you can see it's assumed the properties of the target. So the first element you pick as the target is going to impart its properties onto all of the surfaces that you are joining together. So make sure that when you…
