In this training video, you learn how to analyze data in your project by running and saving a text search query to your project to find a word, phrase, or concept in the sources you select, and view a word tree to visualize the results.
- [Instructor] Well, we're now at a point…in our NVivo Starter project…where we've imported enough content, or source material,…and done enough coding at a variety of nodes…to start thinking about analyzing our data.…We don't just have to wait…till the end of our project to analyze data.…Of course, we'll do it then,…but we can also do it at any point in our project,…like we're going to do in this movie.…And we're going to start with a very useful tool, the query.…Now, if you need to get caught up with me,…just open up LH Customer Experience0301…from the chapter three folder of your exercise files.…
You'll have what I have.…And next, we'll go up to the ribbon and click the Query tab.…Now, from here, you'll see in the Create group…there are three different types of queries.…A text search, for finding occurrences of a word,…a phrase, or a concept.…Word Frequency, to find out how often…words or concepts appear in the content we choose to search.…And then there's one called Coding,…where we'll find all the content coded…
