Learn how to use a codebook to see a list of all your nodes and descriptions, and export a summary of your coding structure to Word and Excel for sharing with others.
- [Instructor] As you build your NVivo project,…there are certain things happening in the background.…For example when we start coding…and start going through our data files…and coding to various notes that we create on the fly,…we're creating what's called a coding structure.…So the structure includes…the different codes and cases, their descriptions,…and if someone wants to know what your coding structure is,…you can tell them or you can actually export it,…export it from your project to a Word or an Excel file…and hand it off to them…so they know exactly what you're doing with your project.…
They may want to use that same structure…in their own projects…or just have an understanding of what you're doing.…So in this movie,…we're going to export the coding structure of our project,…our LH customer experience project…0305 if you're catching up.…It really doesn't matter what you're looking at here…as far as details so we can close those up.…I'm going to go over here to notes…to make sure I'm looking at my notes…
