Joining multiple tables with QBE

- In the previous video, we saw how the Query tab can build a complex where clause on a single table. This time, let's use it to join two tables together. If you've set up a foreign key constraint or an internal relation as described in the previous chapter, phpMyAdmin will build the join automatically. I've already selected the up and running database and am in the Query tab. We need an extra three columns, so add/delete columns, open that drop down menu, select three, then update query. That's added the columns, but I need some more space, so I'm going to hide the panel on the left by clicking that arrow. And then we can scroll down and see Use Tables. Both the cars and the makes tables are selected, so we're ready to start work. So under Column, open that. Both the cars and the makes table are listed. The first one I want is car id. Select that. We want to show it. We don't need any criteria for it. So the next column will be make. We do want to show that. And for criteria, =, and…
