Exporting partial data

- When creating a backup or exporting data for transfer, the resulting file might be too big to upload to your remote server. On the other hand, you might want to merge data from one table into another. And the custom export options won't produce the result you want. PhpMyAdmin lets you choose exactly what you export. Let's start with the example of a table that's too big to upload in a single operation. The sample database we've been working with doesn't have any large tables, but we can still use it to demonstrate the principle. So in the panel on the left, expand up_and_running, and select the cars table, then click the Export tab and Custom. When a single table is selected, you get the option to dump or export some rows or to dump all rows, that's the default. Our table's got only 35 rows, but if I select Dump some row(s), I can then edit these two fields.
