Enhanced export features in phpMyAdmin 4.5
- In phpMyAdmin 4.5, the Export tab has a couple of enhanced features. There's also an important change to the way it exports multiple databases. Let's take a look at that first. I've got the home page selected in phpMyAdmin 4.5 and if I go to the Export tab, assuming that Advanced Features are enabled in phpMyAdmin as described in chapter two, the first thing you'll notice is this new Export templates section at the top. I'll explain what that's for a little later. Let's display all possible options for export by selecting the Custom radio button, and then the important change is down here in this section, Object creation options. In previous versions of phpMyAdmin, the first option was to add a CREATE DATABASE and USE statement, and it was deselected by default. If you forgot to select the checkbox, all the tables and data were exported together as though they were a single database, and that was obviously meaningless, so that option has gone.
