The circle of 5ths progression

The circle of 5ths progression

- Remember we talked about the circle of 5ths earlier in the video? Well the circle of 5ths chord progression is where each chord resolves down a fifth to the next chord. So if we started on an A7, it would resolve down a fifth to D7, down a fifth to G7, and down a fifth to C. In example 41, our circle of fifths chord progression starts on the second bar on A7 and it resolves down to D7, down to G7, and finally C. Let's play example 41. One-two-three-four (strums ukulele) In example 42, our circle of fifths chord progression starts on the second bar once again, on the D7 chord, which resolves down to G7, C7, and finally F. Let's play example 42. One-two-three-four (strums ukulele) Now let's play this next fun song called How Will I Ever Learn to Charleston If I Can't Even Tie My Own Shoes? It's got swing eighths, circle of fifths chord progression, and staccato notes. Here we go. One-two-three-four (strums ukulele)
