The blues shuffle rhythm

The blues shuffle rhythm

- Now let's learn how to play a few blues shuffle patterns. We're going to swing the eighth notes and add the six of the chord. So an A chord. We're going to add the six by putting our third finger down on the second fret of the second string. And alternate between the A six and the A chord. And then we're going to do a D chord. And add the six by playing the fourth fret of the fourth string with our third finger. And back to the D. For the E, we're just going to slide that same pattern up two frets. And add the six. And back to the regular E. Okay, let's try example 59. One, two, three, four. D. E. Now let's try the shuffle pattern in a song. Shufflin' Through the Blues in A. One, two, three, four.
