- Worried Man Blues! (mandolin music) Alright, we're going to do a little crosspicking now, the Worried Man Blues. A great little tune, real simple melody, very singable. ♫ Takes a worried man ♫ To sing a worried song ♫ Takes a worried man ♫ To sing a worried song ♫ It takes a worried man ♫ To sing a worried song ♫ I'm worried now ♫ That I won't be worried long Goes like this. (mandolin music) Alright? Let's break her down, what do you say? So, crosspicking. This is really Jesse McReynolds style crosspicking. It's a very set pattern in the right hand, the pattern is (mandolin music) It's three one two, three one two, three one. Three one two, three one two, three one. And that's down up up, down up up, down up. Being that we're in two four, we're going to need eight notes, eight eighth notes per bar. So it's down up down, so it's one two three, one two three, one two. (laughs) That's how we get that pattern of eight. So it's three three two, or six and two. (mandolin music) So that's…
