(upbeat mandolin) - Hi, this is course number four, Favorite Advanced Tunes. In this course, we'll be taking a look at some of those classic tunes that, well, maybe they're tunes you've known all your life, like Silent Night and Auld Lang Syne and a classic bluegrass, Soldier's Joy. And we'll be taking them apart, deconstructing them and rebuilding them, reharmonizing them and looking at different rhythmic approaches to playing some of these tunes, which will be for the advanced player.
We'll also be taking an in depth look at the circle of fifths and how we can use that as a tool for learning to play in all 12 keys, major and minor and how some classic chord progressions come out of that circle. So, I hope you enjoy the course and good luck with your mandolin playing.
Note: This course was created and produced by ArtistWorks. We are honored to host this training in our library.
