The D-tuner

- Another component part of my base I want to talk about is the hipshot D tuner which I use a lot. (guitar sounds) It's basically a little knob on the back, a little lever rather, on the back that I flip and it moves the whole tuning peg and enables me to drop that low E note down to a low D. So for a heavier track or whatever if I need just to load up. (guitar sounds) So I can easily get on that low D. Now, people who have hipshot D tuners often ask me how they get it to stay in tune and whatever and off course I stress the strings a real lot before I play so they're not going to go out of tune no matter what. But when I put the lever back up, one little move I do, I grab the string, pull it and then pull a lever out and I let it go. That's out of tune. Shit, it wasn't supposed to be but. (guitar sounds) There it is in tune. So you drop it, put a little tension at first, for some reason it goes a little sharp sometimes.
