- Let's take a look at this tune. I've got it here in three different keys for you. What I just did was the key of A of course. I have to salute Bill Keith for his version of this on his first record. On Round Records, wonderful version with David Grisman and Tony Rice and the Gang, maybe Jerry Douglas and Vassar Clements even. That's a real cool version and they do it in G, the Bluegrass key of G. ♫ Should all acquaintance be forgot ♫ And never brought to mind ♫ Should all acquaintance be forgot ♫ And days of old lang syne ♫ For old lang syne my dear ♫ For old lang syne it's a little off ♫ Will take a cup of kindness yet ♫ For old lang syne (mandolin music)
