Learn the basics of HTML markup code as they apply to common marketing projects.
- [Jen] Hi, I'm Jen Kramer. Welcome to Practical HTML for Marketers. HTML is one of the critical elements required to make a webpage display. This course will teach you just enough HTML so that you can get your job done, completing tasks like simple website updates, formatting email newsletters, and creating simple landing pages. We'll start with what HTML is used for, identifying elements in your document like headings, paragraphs, lists, and links.
We'll go through some basic HTML tags that you're likely to use every day, including quotes, images, and linking to PDFs. Finally, you'll understand how to embed a video in a webpage, and you'll be able to edit the raw HTML in MailChimp. At the conclusion of this course you'll be able to mark up some basic content for a website, a landing page, or an email newsletter, as well as fix those minor formatting issues that seem to plague those what you see is what you get, no code required editors.
If you're ready, let's get started with Practical HTML for Marketers.
