Understanding the role of timing in motion graphics

Throughout this course, I've been talking about basic principles of animation and motion graphics. I don't know if you've ever really thought about it, but the motion of a graphic says just as much about the graphic as anything else. For example, if I painted a room bright red versus a room that's blue, it would create totally different reactions when you walk into that room. With animation, it's literally the exact same thing. If I created an animation that was slower versus an animation that was significantly faster, those would create different reactions and people would look at them slightly differently.

So, that's what I've done here. I've animated this energy alternatives logo animation thing here, and let's check it out and see what it says. So, as you can see, they do create different energies. We could further accentuate this by adding some filters and adjusting the ease of different keyframes, but again overall, it's the theory of the fact...
