Intro to typography

- [Instructor] Whether you like it or not, the kind of font you choose in a motion graphics project says almost as much about the message as the words themselves. In this video, we're going to explore some of the fundamentals of typography so we can build a common, unspoken language about the graphics we're going to create. Understanding the fundamentals of typography can also allow you to add more words to a graphic without necessarily making it look more cluttered and vice versa. You can make a busy type build look less busy by choosing a font based on its specific typographic characteristics. Now, just so we can focus on the project itself, I'm going to go to the upper left corner of the interface and close the Library and the Project pane.
