Walk through all the steps to build an online class, add students, and manage assignments with Moodle 2.8.
- Hi, I'm Kevin Kelly. I'll be your guide through this course, Moodle 2.8 Essential Training. As the title implies, we'll look at the essential tasks at basic and intermediate levels related to teaching with Moodle 2.8. First, we'll get ready to teach with Moodle by looking at what it is, how it works over all, and how to use some of the features that are found throughout the environment. After the overview, we'll look at how to prepare an empty Moodle course shell to get it ready for your students. Then we'll explore strategies for using Moodle to organize and share content with your students or learners, manage and communicate with your students and learners, facilitate learning activities, assess learning and teaching, and perform some important course administration tasks.
I've been using Moodle to teach face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses, for about 10 years now, so I'm happy I can share what I know with you through this course, Moodle 2.8 Essential Training.
