Join Mary Cooch for an in-depth discussion in this video Online voting with Choice, part of Moodle 2.5 Essential Training.
As we saw in the previous video, Moodles choice activity allows us…to ask a simple question and get our students to vote on it.…Here, we'll set up a choice for our class to choose…the next movie that we're going to discuss together in the chat.…So to do this, we need to have the editing turned on either…by clicking the button, top right or…in the administration block clicking the link.…And then, in the section where we want to add our choice, we click, add an…activity or resource.…So I'm going to add this to course materials.…And when I click the link, I get to the activity chooser.…
Clicking the Radio button next to Choice presents…us with some examples and ideas for using Choice.…We can then click the Add button at the bottom to get started.…If we're familiar with Choice, we don't need to read that, so we…can merely click the Radio button twice to get to the setup screen.…The name is important because that identifies it for our students.…And then in the description, is where we actually type…the question or statement we want them to vote on.…
