Join Mary Cooch for an in-depth discussion in this video Manually enrolling students, part of Moodle 2.5 Essential Training.
One essential element of getting your course up and running, is how…your students will be able to access it, or enroll in it.…Your institution might enroll them automatically so you don't have to, or you…might allow them to enroll themselves, something we'll look at in another video.…Or, you might want to add them to your course manually.…Let's look now, at how to do just that.…So we're in our course, and if we scroll down and look at the administration block,…which is here on the left, we see we have a link, users.…Clicking to expand it, presents us with the option, enrolled users.…
And when I click that, it takes us to the screen…where we can see everyone who is currently in the course.…And at the moment, it's just our teacher, Josephine, obviously.…However to enroll other users we have a button which…you can see at the top or the bottom here.…And when we click it, it presents us with everyone…on the site for us to choose who to enroll.…Now as a teacher the default here would be student because…most times as a teacher we'd be enrolling students into our course.…
