Manually adding grades
Although we can use Moodle's automatic grading activities, such as assignments, we might sometimes want to add our own grades for tasks students might have done offline, or to grade an activity for which Moodle doesn't by default offer grading. So in this video, we're going to look at how we can add grade items manually to the grade book. So, to do this, we go into the Settings block, and we click the link Grades, and this takes us by default to the Grade Report. So we select from the drop-down, or you might have tabs, Categories and items - Full view, and, when we scroll down to the bottom, we see that we've got the option. Add grade item. And if we click that button. We can then give a name to the item, so we know what we're actually grading for. So let's call it Face to Face Presentation.
