Join Mary Cooch for an in-depth discussion in this video Making a group assignment, part of Moodle 2.5 Essential Training.
We've seen how we can set up assignments for…our students to send us files of different types.…Or write text responses straight into Moodle.…So far, though, we've only created them for each individual student.…In this video, we're going to set up a…group assignment, where our students can work together on…a task, and we can then grade them either…as a group, or separately, according to their contribution.…And to set this up, we first of all need to have the editing turned…on, which we've done either by clicking the button top right,…or by going in and clicking the link in the administration block.…
And then we scroll down to where we want to add our group assignment.…I'm going to add it in the section on assessment and evaluation.…So I click the link, add an activity…or resource, to bring up the activity chooser.…And we select assignment, which is at the top.…If you see a link which says assignment 2.2, don't worry.…This just means that your Moodle has been upgraded from an earlier…version, and you can safely ignore that, and just use the assignment link.…
