Join Mary Cooch for an in-depth discussion in this video Logging in and moving around, part of Moodle 2.5 Essential Training.
Moodle sites can contain a lot of sensitive student data…and so although you might see some useful information on…the front page when you access Moodle from your browser,…you'll need to log in to interact with your students.…We'll take a look in this video at how you…can log in and find your way to your course.…Moodle sites vary greatly in their appearance from quite…plain to very attractive as our Roux Academy here.…But, they will all have somewhere…to log in.…That might be at the top of the bottom of your site.…And, then once logged in, you will have a different…way of navigating around the site and around your course.…
So, I'm going to log in to our Moodle site, to see how it works.…The first that you'll notice is that we have two blocks.…Here, they're on the left.…On your Moodle, they might be on the right.…One is the Navigation block and one is the Administration block.…And these…blocks follow you around the site.…The Navigation block helps you find your way.…It has a link to your courses, your profile.…
