Installing Moodle on a Mac

- [Narrator] If you're on a Mac, you can get a local test environment quickly set up by going to downloads.moodle.org and click on the link for Mac OS X. Then find the current latest stable release. In this case it's Moodle 3.1.2+ and there should be a tag that says Latest release. Download the DMG file. When the download completes open up the disc image file and drag the MAMP folder into your Applications folder. Then open up the Applications folder, scroll down to find the MAMP, and open up the MAMP folder. You'll first need to start the MAMP server by double-clicking on MAMP. You may get a warning letting you know that this is an application that's been downloaded from the internet. Just click Open. When the MAMP window opens up click the button for Start Servers. Once MAMP is up and running you can close your browser window, go back to your Applications folder, and inside the MAMP folder you should see a link for Link to Moodle31.
