Join Mary Cooch for an in-depth discussion in this video Importing from other courses, part of Moodle 2.5 Essential Training.
Sometimes we might have an activity in one course which…we'd like to copy and reuse in a second course.…In this video we'll learn how to do that but note that we need…to be a teacher in both courses in order to be able to achieve this.…So we're in our Hollywood Musicals course as our teacher Josephine Wilson, who would…like to import from another course she's…a teacher in, American Movies, a particular assignment.…And so to do this we scroll down and in the…Administration block click the link Import.…This then opens up a screen where we can see the courses in which we teach.…
So in theory we could actually import back into the current course.…But we're going to select the American…Movies course by clicking the radio button.…And then Continue.…We are then asked which type of…activities, resources, we want to bring in.…Assignments and activities.…So we definitely want to leave that one checked.…And then click the button, bottom right.…Sometimes, this button is quite far down on the screen.…So it's important to know where it is.…
