Grading an assignment

In previous videos, we've seen how to set text or file assignments for our students to complete. And we've looked from a student point of view how to access and submit this work. So now is the time to grade one of these assignments as a teacher. And to do this, we scroll down into the section where we have our assignment which for us here, is assessment and evaluation. And we're going to click the link Final Assessment, meet me in St. Louis. This is the assignment that our student George submitted in an earlier video. And if we click there, we see that out of the three participants, one has submitted so one assignment needs grading. So if we click the link underneath, View, Grade all Submissions, this takes us to Moodle's grade book. And we can see at an instant, that George's is submitted for grading and so if we click the icon Grade, we're taken straight to George's work. This particular assignment was a text assignment, and you can see that Moodle has counted the words here. This…
