The immersive reader can make it easier to view individual messages. It will enlarge the text to fill the entire windows. You can also use the screen reader to have the computer read the message in a synthesized voice. This video shows how to use the immersive reader in both channel conversations and chat messages.
- [Instructor] The immersive reader is a feature…that makes messages easier to read…if you have vision problems,…or if you need to enlarge a message during a presentation.…Just go to any message, either a message in Chats,…or a message like this one in the Teams channel.…Notice when you point at a message,…these buttons appear near the top right corner.…I want to click on this button to open up this menu,…then go to Immersive Reader, and that will show the content…of this message enlarged to fill the window,…making it easy to focus on this one message.…With the control buttons up in the top right,…you have some options to make things more readable.…
You can set size and font preferences,…you can set it to highlight certain types of words,…or set it to display words with syllables separated,…or you can set it to focus on just one line…or a few lines at a time.…If I set it to focus on just one line,…and I close this panel, you can see it highlights one line…at a time as I scroll through,…and of course you can go back to that control,…
