- [Instructor] I was recently asked this question by a LinkedIn Learning member, who is able to see a private channel? So in this week's tips for Microsoft Teams, we'll clarify what a private channel is, how do identify one, and make it clear who is able to see and post messages in a private channel. And I'll start with this team here. This is a public team, so anybody in my organization can find this team and join it without any special permission. You can see there are several channels in this team each one dedicated to a specific conversation topic, and all of them are completely accessible to anybody who has joined this team. Let's make a new channel for a new specific conversation topic. So I'll point at the name of the team then click the button with three little dots to the right of that, and I'll choose the option to add a new channel.
