Pin and unpin apps and other items in the sidebar
- [Instructor] In this week's Microsoft Teams Tips, we're talking about customizing the application interface. And I want to focus specifically on the buttons on the sidebar on the far left. We can see buttons for Activity, Chat, Teams, Calendar, Calls, and Files. These are the standard buttons, but you can change this button layout. First, I get lots of people asking me why they don't see the Calendar button. Well in most cases, there is an easy answer. The Calendar option is not there if you are using the free version of Teams. It's only there for people using the full version through a Microsoft 365 business or enterprise account. But there is another possibility. Maybe you've removed it. In fact, you can right-click on any of these buttons and choose Unpin, and you'll see that button goes away.
