Add a hyperlink to a file in a custom field

- [Bonnie] Hi, I'm Bonnie Biafore. In this tip I'll show you how to include a file hyperlink in a project table. Now what we're going to do is we're going to link to a file by putting the hyperlink into a custom text field. I'm going to use Text1, so I'm going to right click in the column heading and choose Insert Column, and then I'll select Text1 from the drop down menu. That adds the field to the table. Now I'm going to drag the heading over a little bit to make the column a little bit wider. The first thing I'm going to do is right click the task that I want to add the hyperlink to. On the shortcut menu, I'm going to choose Link to open up the insert hyperlink dialog box, and then I'm going to select existing file or web page. What I want to do here is I'm not actually going to use the hyperlink command to add the link, but I need to get the address for the file that I want. So to do that, I'm going to click the down…
