- Most of the examples in this course use XML data files as the XML source. Before running any link queries, we should examine these files. On my computer they are located in this source folder, inside this link XML folder, which is where I cloned the GitHub repo. And you can see the files here in the route, there are six XML files and one XSD file. I'm going to open these in Visual Studio Code, if you're following along, you can use whatever code editor you'd like. In Visual Studio Code, I've opened a folder, it's the same folder we saw in file explorer. And I'll start by looking at this big star collectables XML file, and this one here that says, big star collectibles, no schema. This is the file I use most in the course, this no schema one, but we'll start by looking at the collectibles one.
