- One of the great tools that we have, as I've mentioned before, is the Microsoft Deployment Tool kit. One of those free tools that we have, but really the key to unlocking the success is understand the whole process of how it looks. So we're going to take a look at the whole process overview, and then we're going to really get in with other chapters and actually show you how that whole process comes to be, and how we put together our deployment puzzle. Now when we take a look at this, the initial set up of Microsoft Deployment Tool kit is actually pretty easy. The first thing that you're going to do is create a Deployment Share. Now this is just going to be a share somewhere on your system, generally your data directories, where you're going to store all the different components, all the different LEGO bricks that we're going to use to come together to deploy our desktops inside of here.
