- Now that we've added the boot images to WDS and we've tied it together with MDT, what's left? Well actually to do a deployment. And the deployment is actually pretty straightforward. And it's fairly quick, but there's a couple things that you want to make sure of. Now first off, best practice is whenever you configure WDS and you set up your MDT deployment chair, on that MDT deployment chair you want to make sure you've created a user account that has full control permissions over that share so it can actually properly do deployment. Now, by default you can set up the actual administrative IDs and passwords for that, but I don't recommend using the default account. I would create some kind of separate deployment ID. Now for the purposes of demonstrations today, I'm just going to show you the permissions that I'm actually just going to use, the default administrative ID that's set up.
