Synchronize password hashes

- [Instructor] When synchronizing your Active Directory to Azure AD, it's typically a good idea to synchronize password hashes, so let's take a look at how to set that up. I'm going to go ahead and open up Azure AD Connect, and I'll click configure. And then on the additional tasks list, I'm going to click customize synchronization options, and click next. And now I'm prompted to enter my password for my Master Microsoft Office 365 account. I'll go ahead and do that now, and click next. So we don't have to do anything on the sync screen, I'll click next. We don't have to worry about domain and OU filterings, I'll click next again. And now I'm taken to optional features. Now if you take a look at the optional features, you'll notice that we have an option for password hash synchronization. Normally this is selected by default, but if it's not, you can enable it by selecting the password hash synchronization checkbox, and we also have an option for password writeback if you want to use…
