Selective AD synchronization
- [Instructor] You may occasionally run into situations in which you don't want to synchronize the entire contents of your Active Directory. For example, there might be certain organizational units for which you want to disable synchronization. So let's take a look at how to do that. In preparation for this video, I've temporarily disabled synchronization, and I've created an extra OU so that I can show you how to disable synchronization for that OU. So what I'm going to do is open up Azure AD Connect, and then I'm going to click the Configure button. So now I'm taken to the Tasks view, and what I want to do on the Tasks view, is to click on the Customize synchronization options, and click next, and so then I'm taken to a screen that prompts me to sign into Azure AD. So I'm just going to type my password, and click next, and so then I'm taken to another screen that asks me to connect my directory.
