Save project attachments from email to OneDrive

- [Instructor] If you receive a lot of project emails 2 with file attachments, 3 you can have these automatically saved 4 to your OneDrive for Business document library. 5 This is what's called a flow. 6 It's a process where there's something that triggers it 7 to start, and then it goes 8 through a series of actions to automate that process. 9 So it's looking for a file attachment as a new email 10 in your inbox. 11 And when that trigger is fired, 12 it then saves that attachment 13 to a folder that's been created 14 within your OneDrive document library, 15 To get this process started, we do need to go to OneDrive. 16 So here we are in OneDrive. 17 And from the toolbar at the top, 18 we're going to select Automate, 19 and then select Power Automate. 20 Power Automate is the service that is part of Microsoft 365 21 that allows the capability 22 for you to have these flows set up. 23 So from this Power Automate menu,…
