- [Instructor] Before you install a new version of Microsoft Office, it's important to make sure that your existing documents are going to be compatible with that new version. Microsoft offers a free tool call the Readiness Tool Kit that can help with that. You can download the Readiness Tool Kit from the Microsoft website. Here you can see that I've already downloaded the Readiness Tool Kit, so let's go ahead and install it and run our readiness report. I'll double click on the executable, and this is going to launch the installation wizard, I'll click next, and for the folder I'm going to go ahead and install this to the folder that I'm already using. And I'll click next, I'll accept the license agreement and click next, I'll click next again, and click close, the Readiness Tool Kit has been installed.
