Reset a user's password
- [Instructor] For many organizations, the single most commonly performed administrative task is that of resetting passwords. If you've adopted Microsoft Office 365, it's therefore very important that you know how to reset passwords in the Office 365 environment. Fortunately, Microsoft makes this really easy to do. So as you can see, I'm logged into the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, and what I'm going to do is expand the Users' container and click on Active users, and this brings up a list of all of my Office 365 users. So next, I'm going to click on a user account, and this brings up a dialog box that shows various attributes of this user's account. Up at the top, you'll notice that we have a button for a Reset password, so if I wanted to reset this user's password, I would simply click on the Reset password button, and that takes me to the Reset password screen.
