- [Instructor] So let's take a look at how a user might login to Outlook using an app password. And once again, this is only required for older versions of Outlook. So, I'll go ahead and click on the Start button and here we have Outlook 2013. I'll click on that now. So I'm taken to the welcome to Outlook 2013 screen, I'll click next. I'm asked if I want to setup Outlook to connect to an email account, I'll click Yes and then Next. So now I'm prompted to enter the users credentials. So I'll go ahead and enter a user name, and then I'm prompted to enter the password. But remember, we can't enter the users normal password. We have to instead, use the users app password. So I'm going to go ahead and paste that into the blank, and I'll click Next, and I'll receive a message saying congratulations, your email account was successfully configured and is ready to use. I'll click Finish. And so then after a few minutes I'm taken into Outlook. So that's how you use an app password to login to…
