- [Instructor] Microsoft provides a free tool called the Office Deployment Tool and you can use it to perform customized office deployments. So this is something that you can download for free from the Microsoft website and I've already downloaded it to this machine. If I go into the C drive, you can see that I've got a folder called Office Deployment Tool. I'll go ahead and open that up. In here you can see that the download consist of a self extracting executable file. Let's go ahead and run this file. To install this utility, I simply have to accept the licensing terms and click continue. And then I choose where I want to store the extracted files. I'll go ahead and put those extracted files in the same folder that I'm working in now. And click OK and the files have been extracted. So what did this actually get us? Well, you can see that we have setup.exe and you'll notice that there's a Microsoft Office icon next to setup. So this is the file that can be used to install Office and…
