- [Instructor] Creating a user account in Microsoft Office 365 is a really easy process. As you can see, I'm logged into Microsoft Office 365, and I've got the Microsoft 365 admin center open. Right here on the home screen we have a link to add a user, and that brings up the new user interface. Now if you happen to be somewhere else in the admin center, there is another way that you can get there. You can expand out the menu and go to users, active users, and then click add a user, and that will take you to the exact same screen that you saw a second ago. Setting up a new user is a really simple process. The first thing that you have to do is enter the users first name and last name, The display name is populated automatically. Another requirement is to assign the username. Typically this is going to be first name or last name or some combination thereof.
