Create the MDT share
- [Instructor] So now that we've installed the deployment workbench, we need to create a share that can eventually host deployment images. So, we're going to click on the start button and you'll notice that we have item here called deployment workbench. I'll go ahead and open that up and the deployment workbench contains a folder called deployment shares and right now there are no deployment shares so we need to create one. I'll go ahead and right-click on deployment shares and choose new deployment share and now Windows gives us the new deployment share wizard and the nice thing about this wizard is that we can go with the defaults on everything. So you can see that the deployment share path is set to C:/DeploymentShare. So that's the folder that's going to be created on the C drive. I'll go ahead and click next and then we have the share name. So the share name in this case is DeploymentShare$ and if you look at the full UNC path, you can see that it's set to \\AM-DEPLOYIMG, that's…
