- [Narrator] The first step in setting up a multi forest topology is adding some DNS records. So let's go ahead and do that. Right now I'm logged into the domain controller for the domain poseytechwriting.com And you can see that I've got Server Manager open. So what I'm going to do is go to tools, and then DNS, and that's going to launch the DNS manager. So you can see right now that the domain controller selected, I'm going to expand this out, and I'm going to expand forward look up zones. I'm going to right click on forward look up zones and choose new zone. This is going to launch the new zone wizard. I'll click Next. Now I'm prompted to choose the type of zone that I want to create. I'm going to create a stub zone, such as the stub zone option and click Next. Now I'm prompted to choose my replication scope. I'm going to replicate to all DNS servers running on domain controllers in the forest and you can see the forest name right here poseytechwriting.com, so I'll choose that and…
