Configuring eDiscovery

- [Instructor] Configuring eDiscovery. There are three core pieces or activities that need to be done before we can use eDiscovery. One is to utilize content search, where we can find content based on queries. We can search across most of the workloads in Office 365 and we can also export the results. We can then utilize what's called Core eDiscovery services for adding cases, adding managers, placing the content on hold and then searching for content. We can also then take all of that in steps one and two, and move that into advanced eDiscovery where we can do analyzing of the identified content, deep analysis, and then exporting of results into various formats. The eDiscovery workflow is based on five specific things. In Office 365 we first set up cases and users in the security and compliance center.
