- (Instructor) So far you've seen how we can enable user for multifactor authentication. With the method that I've showed you manually enabling multifactor authentication for user is kind of impractical if you've a lot of users that you want to enable. Fortunately, Office 365 provides a bulk function. So let's take a look at how to bulk enable multiple users for multifactor authentication. So right now I'm in the Office 365 admin center and I'm going to expand up the menu and I'll go to users and then active users and then from there I'm going to click on more and then I'll go to multifactor authentication set up. Once I get to the multifactor authentication screen you'll notice that we have a bulk update button. I'm going to go ahead and click that button now. And when I do you can see the bulk update works by importing a CSV file. So the first step in enabling bulk update for your users is to create the CSV file.
