The printer and paper sizes
- [Instructor] In this exercise we will review the printer and paper size settings in the print dialog, continue using the file using the print dialog, and using the view groups button, verify that the print overview model is active. Because we are using the PDF plotting V8i printer configuration file, the default driver is defined using the Bentley drivers. Using the Bentley drivers is recommended to improve plot file size and the large-scale paper availability. Use the magnifier button to browse to other print configuration files provided by Bentley. Here you can see that most of the names and purposes are obvious. Select the file that matches your printer's language. The markup PDF configuration file is a customized version of the default PDF file. It is used by the MicroStation markups dialog, and should not be modified or removed. One important fact you need to know is that you can use your Windows defined default printer by selecting the printer.pltcfg configuration file. This…
