- [Instructor] In this exercise, I'm going to show you how to put together a Sheet Model using a scale of one inch equals 50 feet similar to the one used in chapter one. Continue using the file Using Models to Print. The primary reason for using a sheet with a scale applied is to maintain geographic locations and coordinates on the sheet. This requires that the project files be attached first to maintain the geographic location. The sheet layout has to be attached on top of the project graphics similar to setting up a border file in a design model. For this sheet example we will put together a one inch equals 50 foot sheet model containing the border. Using the primary toolbox, select the Models command and pick the Create New Model button. Set the model type to sheet 2D and change the name of the model to sheet two and give it a description if needed. Change the annotation scale of the sheet to one inch equals 50 feet and add a sheet name Site Plan and define the sheet number to two.…
