Using cut sheets
- [Instructor] In this exercise, I'm going to show you how to put together multiple sheet models using saved views and sheets at one to one. Open the file for chapter two, Using Cut Sheets. The first thing we need to do is attach our project files as reference files. I will use the dropdown mechanism for the References button and right-click to get to the Attach command. I need to select the Alignment 1.dgn file and pick Open. I will double-click the middle mouse wheel to fit view. Now I want to rotate the project alignment so that the project will align on the horizontal sheets better. Using the Rotate View button, I will change the tool settings to two points, and select points along the beginning of the alignment center line. Next, I can attach the survey data project file, Survey 1.dgn. I want to temporarily turn off the display of the Survey 1 reference file to make it easier to work with the alignment center line.
