- [Instructor] In this chapter, we begin to look at the background configurations and settings that affect how plotting works in MicroStation. There are primarily two files that control plotting functionality. They include the Printer Driver Configuration File and the Print Styles File. Open the file for Chapter 4 - Print Configurations. First let's take a look at the print driver configuration files. Open the print dialogue, and using the pull-down menu, select File, Edit Printer Driver Configuration. The default configuration file has been PDF Plotting V8i 2D, which we have been using throughout this course. Now let's take a look at how this file has been affecting our printing environment. The printer driver configuration file has been used for years to control the individual print setups. This configuration file contains the majority of the settings needed for the single print output using this dialogue. This file was created by making a copy of the delivered PDF.PLTCFG file…
