Setting up workspace print configurations
- [Instructor] In this exercise, we need to dig into some of the MicroStation configuration settings that are automating our printing environment. Continue using the chapter four file print configurations, and using View groups, select the Workspace Configurations model. Using Windows Explorer, we need to navigate to the folder location of the downloaded exercise files. Here's a tip: using the keyboard shortcuts Flying Window + E, will open the Windows Explorer quickly. Using Windows Explorer, I will select the desktop icon, and double click on the Exercise_Files folder. Navigate to the PlottingV8i-2D folder, and locate the file PlottingV8i-2D.ucf. This configuration file defines how MicroStation knows where to look for various resources. Double-click on the UCF file to open it in your favorite text editor application.
